Limited License for Small Creators
We want to support smaller creators on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and similar social media. Subject to the conditions below, we grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to individuals and small creators (typically those with modest audiences — generally under ~500,000 subscribers/followers or equivalent reach, and not large media corporations) to:

• Incorporate short clips (generally under 30 seconds) of our videos into their own original videos or posts;
• Monetize those videos through platform ad revenue, sponsorships, or other revenue features, provided our footage is not the main focus of the video and serves only as supporting material within a larger, original creation (e.g., reaction video, commentary, documentary segment, educational breakdown, compilation with substantial added value, etc.).

Conditions (all must be satisfied):

• Our visible watermark must remain fully intact and clearly legible throughout the clip, OR you must add a prominent, similar watermark that clearly credits “Ben Holcomb Storm Chasing,” “Ben Holcomb,” or “stormchasing.videos” (creative but readable watermarks are welcome);
• You must provide clear attribution in the video description, caption, and/or on-screen (e.g., “Storm footage courtesy of Ben Holcomb Storm Chasing – stormchasing.videos / benholcomb.com / @oklahomachaser” with a link);
• The use must not misrepresent our footage, remove context, imply we endorse your project, or suggest the clip is your own original storm chase footage;
• Your video must add significant original content, commentary, editing, or creative value. Simple reposts, re-uploads, or videos where our footage is the primary content are not allowed.

This license does not extend to:

• Large TV broadcast networks, cable channels, streaming services, production companies, or major media corporations (these require separate written licensing agreements and usually involve fees);
• Full videos or long-form reuse of our content;
• Any commercial use where our storm footage is the main focus or primary selling point;
• Removal, cropping, blurring, or obscuring of the watermark;
• Any use that competes with or substitutes for our own content.

We reserve the absolute right to revoke this license at any time, for any reason, and to request removal of any unauthorized use. Any use outside these parameters requires our prior written permission.

Except as expressly permitted above, you may not download, copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our videos or other content without our prior written permission.

3. Disclaimers and No Professional Advice

The videos and information on the Site are provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only. Storm chasing and severe weather activities involve significant risks, including personal injury, property damage, or death. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any content.

Do not rely on our videos for official forecasts, warnings, safety decisions, or professional guidance — always consult the National Weather Service and local authorities. Your use of the Site and any reliance on its content is at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for any actions taken or not taken based on the information or footage provided.
